how do you know if they saw

you?

how do you know

they get 20 mins

and what do they see

sometimes i leave

feeling like i showed me, and they can do what they want with that information

sometimes i leave worried

worried they only saw a sliver of me

and that sliver might not be the one they like

the one they need.

i had two interviews today

i’m scared of both

one a government job,

painful but someone’s got to do it

one at a company who serves fresh cooked meals everyday

and where you have freedom and flexibility

and where the CEO said if i was his daughter he’d suggest aiming to work as a chief of staff

it sounded like me,

enough

but is that who they need?
