isaiah 59:9-10

here’s the thing

i’ve always loved the dark.

felt most myself in the obscurity of fog or shadow

and

i’m pretty,

religious,

and light is Christ

and

that often

well,

confuses me.

i read the verses about darkness and long to be there

sitting in the peace darkness fills me with

but that’s wrong

like objectively

that’s not what these scriptures say

they say dark is sin

and joy is light

and who am i to disagree
