sacrilege

i stand, tearing the flesh,

dropping it piece by piece,

and i think of Christ,

I do not think of Him Right.

I think that I,

devout in my youth,

never once felt the feeling of standing and tearing

and others

devout and not

stood for much of their youths

tearing and dropping

and maybe thinking of Him Right

and my salad turns to sacrilege.
