sometime

some people hate the word moist

and

right now in my chair,

in my head,

in my body,

i hate the word sometime.

it summarizes what i work hardest to avoid

when i get excited

and the sometime

rears it’s vague and void-like head

the fears creep up from inside of me

the ones i’ve been running from since i was little

the ones where nothing happens.
